RLN maintains a high level of professionalism and a working and learning environment free of all forms of discrimination. The RLN staff, trainers/instructors, and others representing RLN must not discriminate against anyone based on, but not limited to race; color; religion; national origin; sex; medical conditions; age; disability.
RLN, as a non‐profit, does not have a proprietary interest in any product, instrument, device, service, or material that is used in any training program. RLN’s funding primarily comes from individual membership dues and donations, and when funding comes from a corporate foundation, no requirement to promote a product exists. All compensation provided to guest trainers is provided by RLN, and staff comply with all employment‐related policies. When resources are recommended or products are mentioned in a training session, the trainer must clarifiy that RLN receives no direct or indirect compensation or support from the product or service, and it is merely being offered as information to the learner, who must conduct their own research and review of its appropriateness to their situation.
